Research Assistant

As a Research Assistant at CEMLAWS Africa, he plays an important role by giving critical support to the team in project activities and research interests. His key tasks include conducting extensive background research in order to support the acquisition of relevant data and insights for research activities. Additionally, he contributes to technical and IT-related tasks while also aiding in the development of reports, papers, and presentations.

He is the Project Coordinator for the CEMLAWS working team handling the Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA) supported project titled “(Counter)-piracy Infrastructures in the Gulf of Guinea (COPIGoG),”. He is also an important member of the Communication team for the US Department of State-sponsored “DWFV Project Promoting Local Capacity to Address the Destabilizing Impacts of Foreign Fishing Vessels in the Gulf of Guinea and Mauritania.”

Emmanuel holds an MBA with a major in Business Management from Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology in Nanjing, China. He also has a BSc in Ports and Shipping from Regional Maritime University, Accra. Notably, his academic career is supported by a strong interest in maritime security and teaching, demonstrating his dedication to these fields.
